Through the Wood, Laddie

Through the Wood, Laddie

$15.00

Through the Wood, Laddie, features a selection of my original compositions and some of my favorite traditional tunes.

The album title comes from an old traditional Scottish tune with the same name. It gives an ethos of a wild romantic highland tale. The title also carries a double meaning as I recorded it on my violin, made by Ladislaus Kaplan in 1904, which I affectionately call “Laddie”.

Join me as I travel around the world, from Norway to Uganda to Israel, and discover new and exciting places. You’ll make new friends along the way and get to know some of my own dear family members. We’ll also travel into the realm of grand adventure. You’ll meet beloved figures like Helen Douglas, the Lady of the Lake from Sir Walter Scott’s work of the same title, and Captain Furocious, a daring chipmunk hero.
